Alpha Kappa Alpha South Eastern Region Launches Little Ones Big Love Service Project

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in the South Eastern Region are uniting for their Tennessee Statewide Cluster, focused on a mission of service and community empowerment. Hosting the event at the historic Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the sorority will launch the "Little Ones, Big Love" initiative, a dedicated effort to collect essential infant care supplies for vulnerable families and children entering the foster care system.

The initiative addresses the critical needs of infants aged 0-12 months by gathering diapers, clothing, feeding supplies, and other necessities. These donations are designated for AGAPE Nashville and the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, two pillars of support that provide life-changing resources to pregnant mothers and children throughout the Nashville metropolitan area and beyond.

South Eastern Regional Director Toni Franklin emphasized that this project reflects the organization's enduring commitment to service and social responsibility. By combining professional development with community-focused philanthropy, the sorority continues to leverage its vast regional network to provide comfort and hope, ensuring that families navigating difficult transitions receive the tangible support they need to thrive.
