Atlanta Community Food Bank Appoints Strategic Leaders to Strengthen Regional Hunger Relief Efforts

The Atlanta Community Food Bank has officially announced the appointment of new members to its Governing and Advisory Boards, effective July 1, 2026. This expansion of leadership comes at a critical time as the organization strives to combat food insecurity for over 900,000 residents across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. By integrating diverse professional expertise, the Food Bank aims to enhance the accessibility, consistency, and equity of its vital food assistance programs.

President and CEO Kyle Waide expressed deep gratitude for the incoming leaders, noting that their collective experience will be instrumental in scaling the organization's impact. The new Governing Board members, serving three-year terms, include Danielle Fallin of Emory University, Marshall Guest of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Noel Baber of Kaiser Permanente Georgia, and Vonetta Daniels of VYD and Associates. Each leader brings a unique perspective to the complex food ecosystem.

In addition to the Governing Board appointments, Christine Connor has been named the new Advisory Board Vice Chair, accompanied by incoming members Jay Ritchie and Kevin Autie.
