Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. has officially appointed Frank V. Balon as its new President and Chief Legal Officer, marking a pivotal transition for the national leader in renewable fuel production. Mr. Balon, formerly the Co-President and Chief Legal Officer at Steuben Foods Inc., brings over 15 years of executive experience and a proven track record of scaling industrial operations. His appointment follows an extensive search conducted as founder Sumit Majumdar prepares to transition into a new role as a Limited Partner at Verite Capital Partners.

Founder Sumit Majumdar expressed full confidence in Balon’s ability to guide the company toward its next phase of growth. Under Majumdar’s leadership, Buffalo Biodiesel became a powerhouse in the circular economy, serving over 30,000 restaurants across 17 states. Majumdar noted that Balon’s unique blend of legal expertise and operational vision is essential for maintaining the firm's industry-leading commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable growth.

Looking ahead, the company aims to surpass the milestone of one million tons of CO2e offset annually. While Majumdar will remain on the Board of Directors, Balon is tasked with driving further innovation and operational excellence.
