Club Honduras International Celebrates Indigenous Women and Cultural Heritage in Hollywood

Club Honduras International recently hosted a landmark event at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International in Hollywood, marking its first-ever celebration outside of Honduras. This vibrant gathering was dedicated to honoring the resilience and history of Indigenous Honduran women, who carry the legacy of Mayan and native traditions. The program featured captivating traditional music, dance performances, and a theatrical presentation that spotlighted the profound contributions of these women to the country's cultural identity.

The event also served as a platform for cultural exchange, featuring displays of traditional work tools alongside Honduras' signature exports, cacao and coffee beans. During the ceremony, the Consulate of Honduras in Los Angeles was honored with a commendation for its ongoing commitment to the community. Additionally, organizers recognized the humanitarian impact of L. Ron Hubbard’s The Way to Happiness, a nonreligious guide widely utilized in Hispanic communities to foster values such as honesty and compassion.
