The Atlanta Community Food Bank celebrated the remarkable success of its 15th annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy. This two-week fundraising competition mobilized the state's legal community, generating an impressive $635,312. This contribution directly translates to 1.9 million meals for food-insecure individuals across metro Atlanta and north Georgia, underscoring the legal sector's enduring commitment to critical community needs.
Partnering with the Office of the Attorney General, the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, and Feeding Georgia, this impactful competition has collectively raised over 32 million meals for food banks statewide since 2012. Atlanta Community Food Bank President & CEO Kyle Waide expressed profound gratitude for the 15-year collaboration, highlighting its vital role amidst rising demand for hunger relief services.
Over 8,500 members from 79 law firms and legal organizations participated in the 2026 Frenzy. Greenberg Traurig earned the President's Cup for most overall points and Regional MVP, while Habachy Law clinched the Attorney General's Cup for most points per person and Regional MVP. These accolades showcase the widespread dedication and competitive spirit driving this crucial philanthropic effort.
