This partnership fundamentally shifts child online safety from device-dependent apps to network-embedded solutions. It simplifies protection for parents, ensuring device-agnostic, consistent security aligned with UK regulations. This innovation sets a new standard for digital safety, making robust child protection universally accessible and effortless.
KIDZONET, a pioneer in zero-touch child online protection, and UK telecommunications group Ocean-Tel, creators of the EasySim platform, have announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration introduces the UK's first eSIM-native child protection solution, embedding online safety directly into mobile connectivity. It delivers carrier-level security that activates with zero configuration, making robust protection a built-in network feature.
This innovative approach places protection within the network itself, moving beyond reliance on device-installed applications. Designed to be device-agnostic and difficult to bypass, the service ensures consistent safety regardless of the browser or device used. It aligns seamlessly with UK regulatory expectations, including the Online Safety Act, and adheres to standards promoted by the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and NSPCC.
KIDZONET CEO Nidal Taha emphasized universal protection, while Ocean-Tel CEO Ziya Zaga highlighted their commitment to responsible innovation with this UK-first network-embedded eSIM solution. Early beta testing confirms the ease of one-click eSIM activation, demonstrating that parents no longer need to be technology experts to keep children safe online.
