Produced by Rock Cellar Productions and the Get Together Foundation, the event honored late Jesse Colin Young, founding member of The Youngbloods, and his message of unity. Over 25 accomplished Los Angeles musicians and special guests performed, supporting vital Southern California charities.
The night featured an all-star lineup, including The Tribe & the Rockestration Strings and Lookout Mountain. Highlights included honoring Young's legacy to his widow, Connie Young, and Melissa Rivers' impassioned speech on mental health. The evening culminated in a theater-wide singalong of The Youngbloods' iconic anthem, "Get Together," uniting performers and audience members.
Beyond performances, the concert raised critical funds for four nonprofits: The Midnight Mission, Guitar Center Music Foundation, Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, and spcaLA. Executive Producer Kevin Wachs emphasized music's unifying power.
