This conference marks a pivotal shift in mental health advocacy by scaling trauma-informed care globally. By uniting diverse practitioners, TRI is standardizing resiliency models, which is essential for creating sustainable, community-led support systems that effectively mitigate the long-term biological effects of chronic stress and systemic trauma worldwide.
The Trauma Resource Institute (TRI) is proud to announce its first annual international conference, marking a significant 20th-anniversary milestone. Scheduled for October 2–4, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Claremont, California, this hybrid event invites a global audience to explore the theme, "Rooted in Well-Being, Planted in Community, Cultivated by Hope." Attendees from around the world can participate in person or virtually to engage with leaders in the field of trauma-informed care.
This landmark gathering offers a unique opportunity to examine the real-world impact of the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® and the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM)®. Designed for both seasoned practitioners and those new to the field, the conference features interactive learning sessions, innovative research presentations, and collaborative workshops. Participants will gain practical, accessible tools to address chronic stress and foster systemic wellness within their diverse communities and professional environments.
In addition to the core programming, TRI will host a 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Saturday, October 3, to celebrate two decades of international growth and advocacy. With an outreach network now spanning all 50 states and over 77 countries, this conference serves as a vital platform for expanding resiliency-focused initiatives worldwide. Registration for in-person attendance closes on September 10, while virtual registration remains open until September 30, 2026.
