The Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) has officially established its inaugural Industry Advisory Board, uniting top-tier experts from the unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) ecosystem. The formation of this board is particularly timely as the industry prepares for the Federal Aviation Administration's proposed Part 108 framework. This shift toward scalable, beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations necessitates a workforce capable of managing complex automation, data analytics, and risk mitigation.
