The Mad Hatter's July 4th Waterfront Festival proudly marks its 12th annual celebration on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at Vallejo's Barbara Kondylis Waterfront Park. This highly anticipated event invites thousands to commemorate Independence Day's 250th anniversary with a full day of family-friendly entertainment, diverse food, and unique shopping, set against Mare Island’s historic maritime backdrop.
From daybreak, attendees can explore an array of activities including the popular Annual Maritime Dog Parade, interactive exhibits with "Wholly Wackers" sheep and rescued reptiles, a lively Kids Zone, and spectacular Giant Kites. Classic cars, diverse cultural performances, and live music ensure continuous engagement. Peddlers, merchants, and numerous food trucks will offer crafts, wellness activities, and a myriad of cuisines.
As dusk settles, the festival transitions into a vibrant Night Market. Guests can savor international dining, browse unique shopping stalls, and enjoy ongoing live entertainment.
